This is what the cover looks like:
Filter magazine Issue #18

The 22-page article focuses mostly on Sweden's current top 3 male figure skaters (Berntsson, Schultheiss, Majorov), plus there are mentions of Filip Stiller. I've been told that there are incredible photos of Koffe, Adrian and Sasha, including snapshots taken at the 2010 Swedish Nationals.

I don't even speak Swedish, but I want a copy! tongue I managed to find several small preview images of some of the photos included in the magazine. (I'm nothing if not resourceful! Wink) As far as I'm concerned, this is a treasure trove for fans of Swedish men's figure skating!

Wäää, now I really want to get my hands on that magazine! Wink And I would probably understand most of the article as well so it wouldn't be just for the pictures. Although the image 3 was so cute. (: My absolute favourite of those you managed to find somehow.

Today I actually went to see if I could find the magazine from one of the shops. Because I live in a partly bilingual city so depending on a shop there are also Swedish magazines on sale. But I didn't find this one, sadly. No

I'm aware that Sweden is a very small figure skating country, so we rarely hear anything about the skaters' lives outside of the actual competition. I would love to know the article's content. 22 pages is a lot, though, so I don't really expect anyone to volunteer an English translation. Still, the photos alone would be worth the cost of the magazine for me.

I think that may be the first time I've ever seen a photo of Koffe sleeping! Surprised I just wish we saw more of his adorable face and less of the bus. Wink My favourite snapshot is the 2010 Swedish Nationals podium because I love seeing a victorious Kris! Very Happy

Oh, that's unfortunate. If the magazine is unavailable in Finland, it would be even more impossible for me to find it since I live in Canada. Crying or Very sad Is there a way for you to order the Issue #18 from the Filter website?

Well, I looked at the webpages earlier but I think you can only subscribe the magazine through their pages, not buy only one single issue. :/
For outside Sweden it's 599 kr for 6 issues.

Exclamation vaapukka, I think I may have found a solution! Idea A Japanese fan posted this comment on another FS forum:

I emailed the editor of Filter, Mattias Göransson, asking if there was any way we can buy the magazine from outside Sweden. He replied quickly and seems friendly. According to him, ordering a copy of the magazine would be about 150 SEK (50 SEK for the magazine plus postage, which will be around 100 SEK).

I guess this would be the best way to order a single issue. It's worth a try! bounce

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I received my copy today!!! flower I'm so in love with the photos!!! ♥♥♥ I've ordered a Swedish-English dictionary this past weekend, so once that arrives, I'll attempt to translate the article so that I can understand the main points. (I already have a Swedish grammar book in my possession that I got as a birthday present.) I'm sure the process will take forever, and no doubt I will encounter words or expressions that I'm unable to translate, but I'm still crazy enough to try! tongue

Great!!! Now we both have our copies! Very Happy

Good luck with the translation process. I should also begin my own when I get enough time. And if you wonder something in the article (a difficult word or meaning of a sentence etc.) I can try to help you. Two heads think better than one. Wink
